Miniature Schnauzer
History - The Miniature Schnauzer was developed from the Standard Schnauzer and is said to have come from crossing of the Poodles, Affenpinschers and with small Standard Schnauzers. Though small, the Miniature Schnauzers were breed as working dogs and dislikes being treated like other toy breeds. They helped farmers get rid of all kinds of vermin. Miniature Schnauzer also makes an excellent guard dog. The breed was exhibited as a distinct breed as early as 1899. Appearance – The Miniature Schnauzer is sturdily built, they should have the expression of keen and alert. Owners typically groom them with long bushy eyebrows, beards, and long leg hair. Ears are sometimes cropped to stand upright, and the tail may also be docked. The Miniature Schnauzer has a double coat; this keeps them dry and clean. Description – The Miniature Schnauzer is an intelligent breed. They are clean, family dog who are quickly house trained. They enjoy a challenge, hence when training them you should keep the activities plentiful as the Miniature Schnauzer can be bored easily.
